Csapatunk augusztus 23-án, pénteken játszotta második felkészülési mérkőzését a Stavanger Oilers ellen, Mariborban, az események azonban már korábban elkezdődtek. Amikor kiderült a mérkőzés ténye, kb. egy hónapja, azonnal „akcióba” léptem és betámadtam az asszonyt; régóta nyaggat, hogy látni akarja Szlovéniát, én meg a csapatot akartam látni, így a céljaink találkoztak, másnapra pedig már a szállás is le volt foglalva. Telt-múlt az idő, sikerült összehozni egy szurkolói „flashmobot” az egyik jeges edzésre, majd jött egy kis nyaralás Horvátországban (ami miatt lemaradtam a gyetvai meccsről), de végre elérkeztünk a meccs előtti naphoz. Egy gyermekkori barátom (aki Vasas szurkoló) felhívott, hogy vettek egy lakást, nézzem meg. Mondtam, rendben, menjünk. Mint kiderült, egy utcában sikerült lakáshoz jutnia egy szurkolótársunkkal, amikor erre ráeszméltem, azonnal telefonáltam is; „Szevasz, itt vagyok az utcában, tudnál kölcsönözni nekem egy drapit? Megyek Mariborba.” Kaptam. 3-at is! (Meg egy kávét is!) Mindhármat büszkén helyeztem a biztonságos Sparos zacskóba, majd a csomagtartóba. Még aznap délután felhívott egy másik szurkolótársunk: „Helló, a kocsimban van a dob, beszéltük, hogy elvinnéd, kell?” Persze, hogy kell! Ami a legjobban esett, hogy egészen a házunkig elhozta! (Ezúton is nagyon köszönöm!) Szóval megvolt a dob, a drapik, a mez, a sál, a zászló. Természetesen éjjel alig tudtam elaludni.
Az ébresztő 9-re volt beállítva, de 7-kor már a plafont bámultam. Az asszony délig dolgozott, én pedig pakoltam. Tűkön ülve vártam az indulást, hisz ebben a szezonban először láthattam a srácokat játszani (na meg Maribort sem láttam még soha). Végre 11 óra lett, kocsiba bepakol és tűz! Irány életem párjáért a Klinikákhoz. Kicsit korábban érkeztem, így a parkolóban még gyorsan átnéztem az autót. Minden rendben volt, kivéve az üzemanyag szintet, de ezt sikerült a Haller utcai kútnál orvosolni: „Teleküldöm, egy huszasból kijön”- mondtam. Kijött, nem egész 18-ból, mivel egy német márkához szokván nem számoltam azzal, hogy a francia 307-es tankja kisebb. „Nembaj, elég lesz ez oda-vissza”. Természetesen nem találtuk meg elsőre és a büfében kötöttünk ki, ahol megérdeklődtem, hogy mégis hol jutunk be. „Sziasztok, nem tudjátok, hol kell bemenni?” – hallottam a hátam mögül a magyar szót! Két úriember kereste még rajtunk kívül a bejáratot. Megérdeklődtük, megtudtuk. a jegy 5 euro per kopf, így megint csak rövidebbek lettünk, de maradt egy 10-es „kávéra meg burekra”. Bementünk a csarnokba, a csapatok már a kékvonalon, én meg gyorsan drapikat ki, dobot elő és HAAAAAAAAJ-RÁ LILÁK! Néhányan a jégről és kb 35-40 norvég a lelátóról is meglepetten nézett. LIIIIIIILA-FEHÉÉÉÉÉR….. folytattam dobolva, üvöltve – de egyedül. Nem érdekelt, végre itt vagyok, végre láthatom a kedvenceket, végre szurkolhatok, ha egyedül, hát egyedül. Párocskám, mivel nagyon nem köti le a kedvenc sportom, olvasgatott, meg paparazzát játszott – a kabátja alól videózta az „ámokfutásomat”. Közben zajlott a meccs, párában, „gőzben”, sercegett a jég, csattogott a plexi – és Dusi szerkója.
Annyi lövést kapott már az első 5 percben, mint amennyit egy harmadban szokás. De állta a sarat, bravúr-bravúr hátán, de emberhátrányba kerültünk és Forsberg megtörte – ez úgy kb a 15. lövésük lehetett már. Forsberg? Fantasztikus kapusteljesítmény, a csapat viszont csak lézengett, minden lepattanó a norvégokhoz került, sorra dolgozták ki a lövőhelyzeteket, a mieink csak kergették a pakkot. A 12. percig tartottuk az 1 gólt, de csak néha kószáltunk az ellenfél harmadában, ekkor Talge bevitte a második találatot, majd 5 percre rá Trettenes talált be egy olyan szitu után, amikor háromszor passzolták keresztbe oda-vissza Dusi előtt a pakkot. Tic-tac-toe. Ekkor a norvég szurkolók is hallatták magukat egy picit, ám ők inkább sörözni és beszélgetni jöttek a meccsre.

Ezután vagy a norvégok álltak le, vagy mi kaptunk energialöketet a góltól, de többet voltunk a támadó harmadban, több kísérlet is volt, de vagy a blokkban, vagy a kapusban haltak el a lövések. Egy sör 2,80 Euro volt. Sok hely hamar bezárt, azonban van egy utca, ahol szó szerint megy az utcabál éjszaka – de csak itt, dugig emberrel, hangos zene, kaja-pia bőven, ír Pub, német sör, olasz bor, minden, ami kell. Egy sörre itt is jók voltunk, majd az úttól és a meccstől fáradtan, de jókedvűen mentünk aludni.
Másnap konstatáltam, hogy fél tank benzint emésztett fel a macsek. Tényleg elég lesz az „egytank” benzin hazáig! Elég lett, főleg, hogy hazaúton Balatonig csak sétakocsikáztunk és nézelődtünk. A határon megláttunk egy „bogárrajt”! Oldtimer olasz 500-as Fiatokkal jöttek Itáliából európai körútra! Jópofa volt, le is fotóztam.
Egy gyors kávé után haladtunk tovább hazáig, 5 óra és fél tank sem kellett, hogy hazaérjünk. Jó volt, bár Maribortól és a csapattól is többet vártam. Lesz ez jobb is!
